In this session, you’ll learn about:
What co-design is and is not
The mindsets for co-design
How to recognise co-design and tell it apart from other design and engagement approaches
The different roles within co-design
A few myths about co-design
You won't learn how to deliver workshops or facilitate co-design. Like any skill, co-design takes time, experience and supervision to develop. Attending this course doesn’t endorse you to deliver co-design projects aligned to Beyond Sticky Notes ® or KA McKercher.
🧠 Who this session is for
This is an introductory course. We welcome people of all backgrounds.
🗝 Investment
Individual Professional: $450 AUD + GST. Place confirmed on payment by invoice or through Humantix.
We have 4 places per course for community to attend free (by community we mean people who earn less than $50,000 a year).
Discounts are available for Indigenous professionals ($250 + GST), young professionals aged under 25 ($200 + GST) and groups of 3 ($999 + GST). You can select this option at payment (we use Humantix) or contact KA. If you’d prefer when invoice you, let us know.
🖥️ The workshop format
This workshop is a mix of experiential learning and accessible theory, with breaks every 50 minutes and a half-hour break for lunch (you’re responsible for your own lunch). Ahead of the session, you’ll receive a 5-10 minute task.
After the session, you’ll receive several materials to support your practice and a discount for one-on-one or small-group coaching, mentoring or supervision. If you’d prefer private training for your organisation please contact KA.
